Project: Honey Bee (Apiculture)

Most of the families living in Uttar Kannada depend on agriculture. Apiculture is the supporting   tool in order to get success in agriculture. LEADer Subramanya took initiative to encourage apiculture in his village Yelgodmane. He implemented his project in 10 homes. From his project those families are now getting extra income. Farmers getting Rs. 400 to 500 net profit on each kg of honey.  Subramanya not only thought about apiculture but also throws light on marketing.
