LEAD Nizamabad in 2015 Limca Book of Records
Posted on Sunday, December 29, 2013 by LEAD
On December 28th, 1500 students of eight schools and four colleges from Nizamabad came together performed a massive flash mob. The flash mob, which lasted a total of 10 minutes, was conducted to create awareness for women harassment and child education issues.
The largest recorded flash mob in the Limca Book of Records consisted of 1300 participants, meaning that the Nizamabad students beat the previous record by 200 participants. The flash mob led by LEAD Nizamabad students will be published in the 2015 edition of the Limca Book of Records.
The students also made a splash in local Nizamabad media. The story was covered on TV9, ETV2, TV5, V6, iNews and more.
