Happiness of getting something valuable is in the joy of giving something valuable.

LEaders Pritha, kirit Dutta, Deepak Yadav, Kumar Piyush and Narendra Singh, students of Faculty of Management Studies Banaras Hindu University, came up with an idea of providing warm winters to the needy people on the streets of Varanasi. Initially Pritha planned to work on funds provided by the LEAD Program but later she changed her plan to work on the basis of collecting the warm winters free of cost. It was indeed a turning point for her project as it was the challenge taken by her.  Pritha with her team visited several retailers asking for things that are not useful for them but can be repaired and used by others.
It was not easy for them to go on roads and ask from the people being professional students of a reputed University. This begging was not for self but it was for the people in the surrounding of BHU, Varanasi who is really in the need of winter clothes to save themselves from the winter.

LEaders could collect around 100+ pairs of foot wears, 50+ woolens and clothes within two days working for around 5 hrs a day meeting 50+ shopkeepers per day, few of them were Manish Chandani, Ghunghat, Godolia, Amit Kumar, New Matching Ghar, Godolia, Mukesh, Classic Footwear, Rajesh, Rajesh shoes, Ashok Kumar, Shiv Kumar. Some of the retailers said that they would recruit few of them who would earn their daily living.
LEaders executed the project on the third day by visiting nearby temple, Ashram, Rickshaw Runners, and street children. Pritha and team say that it was an awesome experience for young leaders like us to work for the society and get their blessings. Pritha is thankful to her team for working enthusiastically for the society.
