Forestry students from Sirsi spread message on rare species of trees
How would you know if the old tree in your backyard could fetch a million bucks in the international market? Why would people protect rare trees in their village if they did not know that they are invaluable? While answering such questions, a group of college students (Vinay Bhat, Ganapathi Hegde, Manjunath Hebber and Girish Chougule) from the Forestry College in Sirsi is introducing people to rare trees in their surroundings.
