Project Description: The project team identified a park which was left unused because of unhygienic conditions. The park was full of weeds and thorny bushes which posed as a breeding ground for many disease- causing insects, animals etc. So the LEADer along with his teammates cleaned the park by removing the weeds, dirt and vowed to maintain it with the help of the neighborhood.

Project: "GSMS", LPG Refill Booking Over SMS

Project Description: Technology makes life easier. With the advancement in mobile technology, we can book tickets, pay bills, etc. The LEADer exploited this technology and made a software which allows customers to book their LPG cylinders just by sending SMS through their mobile phones. Within a month of initiation, around 300 cylinders were booked through SMS. This service is still being used by people in Hubli effectively.

Project Description: Plastics are non-biodegradable elements. They pose a serious threat to the environment. The objective of this project was to make the BVBCET campus plastic-free as a step towards making the world plastic free. The LEADer along with his team cleaned the campus and disposed the plastic waste in a scientific way.
