Mathematics is a difficult subject. The abacus is the first
step in mathematics which could be opted by rich students nowadays because of
its fee structure. Team leader Somashekar Patil and Nagaraj B. B. took the
initiative and got the permission of a lecturer who teaches the abacus in the
city of Lakshmeshwar. They gathered all the students who are really poor yet intelligent and conducted the classes for almost a week for them. Their parents' feedback was awesome and it helped the students improve their mathematics by the help of the team of “The Spartans of Lead”.
