LEADers celebrating Raksha Bhandan in dividing themselves into teams.

LEADers of different places like Davangere, Chitradurga, Ranebennur and Holalkere region were divided into 8 teams and celebrated Raksha Bhandan at various places simultaneously. Thanks to Aarya Hallikeri for coordinating with teams for execution.

Team 1: Leader Anusha along with Swetha and Soyal of Nutan College visited Veerashiva Blind School in Davangere and tied Rakhi for 25 blind school students. They also distributed re usable 7 pairs of dress and sweets. They studied the life journey of artists and came up with an idea to encourage their talent in singing. Leaders are planning and working on the basic facilities and requirements that the kids require.  

Team 2: Rakshan Bandhan was celebrated by Davangere leaders in Water tank near a park. Around 30 members of DRM College, Nutan College, MSB College, BIET College, UBDT College and ARG College made this moment a memorable one. This was first gathering of all Master Leaders, LEAD Ambassadors, LEAD Prayanis, LLP participaints and newly joined leaders of this region. This was the best platform to make all of them united.
Team 3: LLP active participaint Jyothi along with her co members Suma, Jyoti, Greetina, Swetha, Pooja, Sushma, Sushma G V, Prashant, Basavraj and Mallikarjun celebrated Raksha Bandhan in Seva's Deaf and Dumb School, Ranebennur. Leaders presented a skit for the school studens on Rakshabandhan representing the bondage of brothers and sisters. They also organised some creative paper craft activities from old newspapers and brought smiles on several small kids.

Team 4: Govt First Grade College student Meghana, Manasa and Nagaratna celebrated Rakhi in Police station in Holalkeri. They met staff and tied Rakhi to them. Wishes and greetings were conveyed to them.
Team 5: SJM Womens College student Navya, Pooja and SJM Polytechnic College Maunisha of Chitradurga visited Police station. They also appreciated the service given by police.
Team 6: Leaders of STJIT Ranebennur, did a community activity of celebration of 'Raksha Bandhan' in the petrol bunk and with traffic police. They were successful in bringing smiles on their face by their iniyiative. They were so emotional and happy for kind of action on special day and tied Rakhi. That was an awesome experience for us says Greetina.

Team 7: Leader Jyoti R Chavan along with Greetina, Rajeshwari, Pooja, Prashant, Mallikarjun, Basavaraj, Shweta and Suma visited to Remand Home and celebrated Raksha bandhan. Children were very happy seeing the energy of these LEAD members. These leaders enjoyed and brought smile on thier faces.

 
Team 8: .STJIT College Leaders took a lead in celebrating Raksha Bandhan in hospital with ward boys and patients. The head of the hospital Dr. Nagraj Doddamani supported a lot and said that he believes in the spirit of youth, he also appreciated them. Patients were very happy. Leaders spared some time with patients and exchanged the ideas finally leading to refresh their minds.
