LEader Richa Sonal Mishra and team Nandini De, Durgesh from BHU, Varanasi has taken an initiative to conduct an “Awareness Program by doing Nukkad Natak” on Assi Ghaat, Ramnagar, Varanasi. The Nukkad Natak had “SEVEN” themes, where LEaders gave awareness on Seven Social issues such as; Child Labor, Women Empowerment (Security), Food Conservation, Information about Dengue disease, Clean Ganga, Promote Girl Child Education, Stop Dowry system. According to Leader Richa; Nukkad Natak/ Dramas are the best way to convey message to public as people can understand very well through activities and Natak. Leader . Cited that:- “The first step toward change is awareness. The second step is acceptance.”- Nathaniel Branden.

In team each one of them had different roles and responsibilities. Leaders were well prepared and each one of them was heading it. Richa and her team were very excited to implement this project. The team itself was wonder stuck with the outcome that they had seen. Leaders had very less time to practice the play. Leaders planned and marched to Assi Ghaat and played skit through Nukkad Program. 40 + members work together to execute this plan 250+ people were benefited through this activity. People appreciated the ideas and the entire program was successful after which they celebrated the team work. Through this activity students realized about time management and effective planning. Apart from this, students learnt how to work as team, leadership skill & management, helping each other with effective communication
